Brian began his construction career in 1972 by enlisting in the Navy Seabees where he served as a Builder with a Mobile Construction Battalion during two overseas deployments. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology and gained valuable experience as a design engineer, construction superintendent, project manager and vice president of land development operations prior to founding his own company in 1999. He has extensive experience managing large scale construction operations for owners and contractors and is proficient in cost estimating, CPM scheduling and contract administration.

He has extensive multi-disciplinary experience in residential and mixed use developments, civil infrastructure improvements, public works facilities and commercial building construction. His expertise includes program definition, bid solicitation, contract and schedule administration, architectural and engineering management, constructability reviews, value engineering analysis and public utility regulatory matters. He attended Virginia Wesleyan College, Pennsylvania State University and received his Project Management Certification from California State University.

He received his BSCE from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Terry’s experience includes positions as department manager, branch manager and director for major engineering firms and supervisory positions as department head and director of utilities for local municipalities. His expertise includes civil engineering, project management, executive management, quality control, marketing and customer service and he is a long time member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
